Who it's for
Streamers and creators who prioritize smooth 60fps motion and accurate color over raw resolution, especially for portrait-format platforms.
Overview
The StreamCam is built specifically for streaming and content creation rather than office video calls: true 1080p at 60fps for smooth motion, a glass lens tuned for accurate color, and USB-C connectivity. Logitech Capture software adds framing presets, exposure control, and green-screen-free background removal, and the camera can mount vertically for portrait-format streams and shorts.
Pros
- True 60fps at 1080p for noticeably smoother motion than typical 30fps webcams
- Glass lens delivers more accurate, less oversaturated color than plastic-lens webcams
- Vertical mounting option built specifically for portrait-format streaming
- Logitech Capture software adds real framing and background controls
Cons
- More expensive than general-purpose webcams with similar resolution
- Tops out at 1080p — no native 4K option
What buyers say
2,977 ratings average 4.4/5, with 73% at 5 stars. Reviewers consistently praise the 60fps smoothness and color accuracy for streaming; the small 1-2 star share mostly cites the price relative to higher-resolution alternatives.
60fps makes a real difference
Switched from a standard 30fps webcam for streaming and says fast hand movements and gestures no longer look choppy to viewers.
Vertical mount is perfect for shorts
Uses the vertical mounting mode for TikTok-style content and says it's the only webcam they found built specifically for that orientation.
Great image, wish it did 4K
Loves the color accuracy and smoothness but says at this price point they expected at least an optional 4K mode.
