Who it's for
Creators on a tight budget who need a cheap, simple audio upgrade for desk-based recording, calls, or webcam voiceovers.
Overview
A no-frills wired lavalier mic that plugs straight into a USB-A port with no drivers or interface needed — about as cheap and simple as clip-on audio gets. A 2-meter cable gives enough slack to move around a desk setup, and the omnidirectional condenser capsule is a real step up in clarity over a laptop's built-in mic for calls, voiceovers, or webcam recording.
Pros
- Genuinely plug-and-play over USB — no interface or drivers needed
- Very cheap way to get clip-on audio noticeably clearer than a laptop mic
- 2-meter cable gives real freedom to move around a desk or small room
- Removable clip and pouch make it easy to toss in a bag
Cons
- Wired-only — no wireless freedom like a DJI Mic Mini
- Only works with USB-A computer ports, not phones or cameras directly
- Small review base so far compared to more established mic brands
What buyers say
Early reviewers highlight how simple the plug-and-play setup is and how much clearer it sounds than a built-in laptop mic, with the main limitation being that it's a wired, desk-bound solution rather than a wireless one.
Cheap and it just works
Plugged it in for video calls and says it picked up their voice far more clearly than their laptop's built-in mic, with zero setup beyond plugging it in.
Great starter mic for the price
Uses it for webcam recordings and says the sound quality punches above the price, though they wish it had a wireless option for walking around during recordings.
Solid clip and long cable
Appreciates that the clip holds securely to a collar without slipping, and says the 2-meter cable is long enough to stay clipped on while reaching across a desk.
