Who it's for

Mobile creators — nail artists, macro/nature shooters, and vloggers — who want a real optical upgrade over their phone's built-in lens without carrying a separate camera.

Overview

Xenvo's Pro Lens Kit clips a genuine wide-angle and macro lens onto any smartphone camera, aiming to fix the two biggest complaints about cheap phone lenses: barrel distortion and dark-corner vignetting. The aluminum-and-glass build captures 45% more frame with the wide lens and razor-sharp close-ups with the 15x macro, and a rechargeable LED fill light is built into the kit for low-light shots. It's a compact, no-app-required way to add real optical versatility to mobile photography and short-form video.

Pros

  • Noticeably sharper and less distorted than cheap clip-on lenses, thanks to coated glass elements
  • Macro lens gets genuinely close for detailed product, nature, or nail-art style shots
  • Comes as a complete kit — LED light, lanyard, and travel case included, not sold separately
  • Sturdy clip holds securely without wobbling on the phone

Cons

  • Macro lens must sit almost touching the subject and is very sensitive to alignment — most phone cases need to come off
  • Wide lens still shows a slight vignette in regular photo mode on some phones
  • Some owners of very recent phones with multi-lens systems report less improvement than expected

What buyers say

Most buyers are impressed by the build quality and how much sharper the macro shots look versus cheaper kits, though several note there's a learning curve to lining up the lens correctly, and results vary more on newer multi-camera phones.

Great quality and a noticeable difference

I wasn't sure what to expect, but this lens kit actually works really well. The macro lens is my favorite — it lets you get super close and the details come out sharp. The wide angle is nice too for shots where you want to capture more in one frame. It clips on easily and stays in place. You do have to line it up correctly to get the best results, but once you get the hang of it, it's simple.

Wide lens great for selfies, macro lens needs patience

With the macro lens you have to hold the phone almost touching the subject, which is tricky with a moving subject like an insect, but the detail is incredible once you get it right — though it's very sensitive, so a thick phone case has to come off. The wide lens is best used in selfie mode; in regular photo mode there's a slight vignette in the corners, but in selfie mode it's distortion-free and makes a real difference for group shots.

Nice kit, but limited gain on the newest phones

The kit arrived quickly and feels well made, with what seems like a real metal body and glass lenses. But on my latest-generation phone, the macro lens didn't offer much advantage for close detail work — it introduced some curve distortion and color fringing, especially away from the center of the frame. It might work better on older single-camera phones; on mine, the unaided camera actually looked clearer.
