Great quality and a noticeable difference
I wasn't sure what to expect, but this lens kit actually works really well. The macro lens is my favorite — it lets you get super close and the details come out sharp. The wide angle is nice too for shots where you want to capture more in one frame. It clips on easily and stays in place. You do have to line it up correctly to get the best results, but once you get the hang of it, it's simple.
Wide lens great for selfies, macro lens needs patience
With the macro lens you have to hold the phone almost touching the subject, which is tricky with a moving subject like an insect, but the detail is incredible once you get it right — though it's very sensitive, so a thick phone case has to come off. The wide lens is best used in selfie mode; in regular photo mode there's a slight vignette in the corners, but in selfie mode it's distortion-free and makes a real difference for group shots.
Nice kit, but limited gain on the newest phones
The kit arrived quickly and feels well made, with what seems like a real metal body and glass lenses. But on my latest-generation phone, the macro lens didn't offer much advantage for close detail work — it introduced some curve distortion and color fringing, especially away from the center of the frame.
